I would just like to express my sincere thanks to Karla Darocas who resolved numerous issues with my website. It had been created by another and I was unable to update myself without additional expense and the time delay of waiting for another to do as requested. I had been having  problems with my web designer, which went back 18 months and wasted a lot of money. I asked Karla via email as to whether I was capable of taking it over. Karla assured me I was.  After a few simple lessons at her office and a free copy of a website authoring programme, I was steaming ahead with changes. I finally published my website after 1 week, and every time I look at it I smile. I am happy not just because of what I achieved, which is brilliant, but because I can imagine the surprised look on the web designer's face when he saw it too! After seeing an advertisement on the internet promoting a photo walk in Jalon with Karla Darocas, I immediately signed up to go as I am very interested in learning how to take better photos.   It was a fantastic sunny day and Karla was very friendly and informative. She taught with enthusiasm on how to take photos by looking at the beauty of things around us and applying the principles of harmony, colour, form, texture and lighting, etc. We first walked through the old town of Jalon taking photos of buildings, churches, ornate objects, etc to name a few.  We then walked on in to the surrounding countryside taking pictures of the beautiful views of the Jalon Valley where we were also able to capture some of the beautiful almond blossom, which Jalon is renowned for. I signed up for Karla's Photoscape workshop as it looked a really interesting way to enhance photos and create artistic cards or posters for work. Karla was really friendly and professional. I have known Karla all her life. She has always been interested in the Visual Arts even as a child.  She studied fine arts at university and in Spain and became an artist of note.  Her keen eye for colour and proportion make her a natural for photographing all the beauty that surrounds us.  I am so impressed with how she captures her subjects, especially the ones in nature. My name is Rhonda Stirling  I worked professionally with Karla  as  Co-Founder of Aficionada Arts and Entertainment Network, Canada, between 1991 and 1994. Karla was the backbone and creative force behind many diverse projects. These included the design and photography for the cover artwork for several recordings of singer/songwriters and the promotional material produced to accompany them.
